Welcome to the IMO National Selection Test (IMONST) 2020 contest site.

The contest is available at the Competitions tab, but it cannot be accessed before 10.00am, Saturday 12 September 2020. You must log in with the correct username/password to access the contest. Before it opens, the contest is password-protected (but the password will be removed once the contest opens).

In the meantime, you can access the IMONST 2020 Practice Test at the Competitions tab to familiarize yourself with the interface. Note that the practice test is untimed, ungraded, and unsavable. You don't have to log in to try the Practice Test.

INSTRUCTIONS -- Please read these carefully!

1. The IMONST 2020 is open for 60 hours:

Contest Open: 10.00am, Saturday 12 September 2020.

Contest Close: 10.00pm, Monday 14 September 2020.

2. The duration of the contest is 2.5 hours.

Once you start the contest, the timer will count down to zero, even though you have a problem with your computer, internet, or electricity. Please ensure that your setup is stable before starting the contest. We will not entertain any request to reset the time.

It is recommended to take the contest from 10.00am to 4.00pm, so it is easier to contact customer service if you have any questions.

If you start too close to the closing time, you might not get the full 2.5 hours to do your contest.

3. Please do not use the Internet Explorer browser.

4. IMPORTANT: For some accounts, you need to choose the category at the beginning. Please choose the correct category (Primary, Junior, Senior) that you registered for, as this cannot be changed once selected.

If you choose the wrong category, we will not issue another account, and your participation is forfeited.

5. The answer to each question is a positive integer. All other inputs are not accepted.

6. Please save your answer for each question. You may move from one question to another using the question list on the left. You can change your answers as many times as you like; only the last answer entered before submission will be used for grading.

7. Once you complete the paper, press End Contest, and confirm that you want to end. If your 2.5 hours run out, the contest will end automatically, and your saved answers will be submitted.

8. It is recommended that you record your answers on paper as well.

9. IMONST 2020 is an open book exam. However, participants must sit for the contest themselves without any help from others. Any form of dishonest conduct will be investigated and may result in disqualification.
